The Duplicate Rules action flags an entry that looks like an existing record, in the same table or in another one. For example: a new customer with the name of an existing customer.

| Exact Match | The whole value. |
| Same First Characters | The start of the value. |
| Same Last Characters | The end of the value. |
| Contains | Part of the value, from a Position and over a Nos Characters. |
When a duplicate is found, the Event Duplicates found page shows the records concerned and lets you open their card.
