Some customers, often international ones, require their invoices in LEDES format. SB Lawyer produces the file from the invoice’s presentation module, in the 1998B, 1998BI, 2000 and 2.0 formats.
- On the customer card, Electronic Invoice is selected and the LEDES Format is chosen.
- The LEDES Mapping links your codes to the LEDES codes: work types (activities), resource groups, matters (tasks), expense items, VAT.
- On the proforma, check Electronic Invoice and the LEDES Format, taken from the customer.
- If the customer requires it, choose Apply Billing Range to round the time.
- Post the proforma: SB Lawyer generates the LEDES file.
- Upload the file to the customer’s LEDES platform.
