The Communication action automatically notifies users or contacts when the event fires.
| Type | Effect |

| Sends an email, with a report attached if needed (PDF, Word, Excel, XML). | |
| Teams | Sends a message to a channel or to Teams users. See Set up Event Manager. |
| User Task | Creates a Business Central task for a user or a group, with a due date and a priority. |
| Global Notification | Shows a notification on all the user’s pages, with actions: open a page, close, create a task, disable. |
Fields Parameters create keywords from the record’s fields (customer no., name…): insert them in the subject, the message or the filters to personalise each message. A link to a page can also be added to the message.
